Wayfinding system

The Bijzondere Collecties include the special collections of the Amsterdam University Library. Among the unique pieces are manuscripts, special prints, maps and atlases, as well as photographs. The aim of this project was to develop a visitor orientation system for the exhibition rooms and facilities in the Bijzondere Collecties premises in the city center of Amsterdam. The system was directly applied on different surfaces. In the design, both house style colors, cyan and black, were used as well as an interpretation of the logo’s horizontal line.
